Together with microorganisms and domesticated animals, plants provide the raw materials for our food and drink. Plants also provide many of the materials used in clothing and buildings. The application of basic knowledge about plants has made modern agriculture possible. Therefore, educated professional in the field of Plant Science is crucial to develop our country in the few decades of the third millennium.
