Finance Executive
Finance Executives are responsible for directing
financial operations, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and driving strategic
financial planning. We manage core functions including budgeting, forecasting,
financial reporting, and fiscal analysis to support evidence-based
decision-making and ensure long-term institutional sustainability.
Key Responsibilities & Core Mandates
Financial Statement Management: Oversee
the preparation and analysis of financial statements, operational budgets, and
financial reports to guarantee accuracy, transparency, and compliance with
statutory standards.
Executive Advisory: Present institutional
financial performance reports, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations
to senior management to guide fiscal policy.
Regulatory Compliance & Control:
Ensure full alignment with financial regulations, tax laws, and established
accounting principles through rigorous internal reviews and control systems.
Digital Financial Governance: Leverage the
Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) to ensure all fiscal
activities strictly adhere to national financial proclamations and regulatory
directives.
Modernized Treasury Operations: Utilize
advanced internet banking and electronic fund transfer (EFT) systems for
institutional disbursements, including procurement payments, payroll, and
allowances, ensuring efficiency and timeliness.
Strategic Budgeting & Planning:
Oversee comprehensive budget allocation, financial forecasting, and long-term
planning across recurrent, capital, and internal revenue streams.
Cash Flow Management: Develop and submit
strategic annual and quarterly cash-requirement plans to the Ministry of
Finance to maintain uninterrupted institutional liquidity.
Process Optimization & Evaluation:
Continuously evaluate operational workflows to identify structural bottlenecks,
implementing modernized financial management practices to boost performance.
Financial Reporting & Audit Readiness:
Maintain accurate general ledgers and prepare high-quality fund-utilization
reports for the Ministry of Finance, internal oversight committees, and
external audit authorities.
