Debre Berhan University Signed MoU with Red Cloud ICT Solutions P.L.C
Debre Berhan University (DBU) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Red Cloud ICT Solutions P.L.C to strengthen university–industry collaboration in technology development, research partnership, and talent cultivation.
The signing ceremony, held on December 5, 2025, marks a significant milestone in promoting innovation, enhancing practical teaching and learning, and fostering strong joint initiatives that address emerging industry challenges.

Mr. Bemnet highlighted the significance of the collaboration, noting that it offers a valuable opportunity to address industry-related challenges through the expertise and research capacity of DBU. He emphasized that many of Red Cloud’s current employees are DBU graduates—an indication of the university’s strong contribution to the ICT sector.
He further stressed the growing need for human resources in Business Information Systems, specifically professionals who can effectively integrate IT knowledge with business processes and decision-making. This partnership, he noted, will support joint efforts in AI integration, Learning Resource Platform (LRP) development, technology transfer, and resource sharing.
