It is to be said it is my pleasure and privilege to introduce Debre Berhan University, College of Business and Economics, Department of Management. Being one of the first ever academic units of the College, the Department of Management felt and has been feeling proud by his achievement of producing competitive, responsible and creative managers, capable of leading organizations of public and private sectors in the country and elsewhere, since it was first established.

Our Department comprises committed group of Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, as well as lecturers with high academic education along with acquired practical experience in industry, who are committed to formulating students not only in core theory and concepts in the field, but also in the skills and attitudes necessary to understand and analyze, and find solutions to, managerial, organizational, real-world problems through our undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

We are constantly updating our curricula in accordance with the regulations set by the national quality assurance agencies. Additionally, we are adapting them to the needs of the labor market, in collaboration with the business sector, administrations and the society in general that our students specialize and innovate, ready to become entrepreneurs, and as excellent employees.
